About The Table

The Table is the newest local initiative for So Shine in our hometown of Newton, KS.  Under the direction of Carrie Holler, The Table is a free community dinner that has a vision to:

• Build meaningful community WITHIN families

• Build a deeper sense of belonging TO our families AND our town

• Build a stronger future FOR our FAMILIES and town

As we welcome our guests to The Porch each Wednesday evening we are simply providing the meal and the space for people to connect around The Table.  This initiative is made possible through the sales from Norm's Coffee Bar and the generous donations of many in our community.
